I started this piece by creating the window with the idea that in order for peace to happen you have to be open to new ideas and opinions first. Secondly, I though about how you have to be the first to invite peace in. It doesn't happen just by chance you have to nurture it and be open to it. I hope you will think about peace in your next discussion even if it is just at your dinner table.

I think of peace a lot. Every time (especially around Christmas) I see something with it written on it I buy it. I have a nice little collection. My personal focus is inner peace. I feel if everyone worked on improving themselves the world would surely benefit. Imagine if everyone fostered peace in their hearts...
