The Fat Lady Sang

My ongoing sketchbook... My assigned theme: The End of the World. Check out my other sketches at the arthouse. Please help me come up with more ideas. I have around forty pages to fill by December. Thanks!

  1. Hello,

I am Celeste Malvar-Stewart, a graduate student at Eastern Michigan University in the Department of Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising.
I am conducting a study on American eco-designers and their use of post-consumer textiles.
As an important fellow eco-designer, I would like to invite you to participate in my survey. Please provide me with an appropriate e-mail address where I may send my invitation for your much needed and greatly appreciated participation.
    Thank you!
    BTW, I love your work!

  3. I guess that is my point. It is over. My assigned theme is "The End of the World" so I am sketching ideas of what it might look like when it is the end. I had a hard time with this theme in the beginning because my first thoughts of death and destruction. Then, I thought about how much you miss someone and learn to appreciate them more when you think about what it would be like if they left you. The earth never leaves us, perhaps that is why we take it for granted.
